Olan’s track record of success began long before he entered the courtroom. In the spring of 1984, he graduated as Valedictorian (first in his class) from South Texas College of Law. That same year, he achieved the highest score of all examinees on the February Texas Bar Exam. During his time in law school, he also served as Associate Editor of the South Texas Law Journal and competed on both the National and ATLA Mock Trial Teams.
